Colnago Super Orange

Not just once we have been adressed regarding classic steel frames from the early 1970s, out of the forge of Ernesto Colnago, Now we can meet those wishes with a Colnago Super 1973. It´s an absolute piece of jewelry restored in contemporary Colnago Orange, that means sandblasted, powder coated and provided with reproductions of the original labels before the clear coating. Wonderful details like the Campagnolo cable guides in chrome on the top tube and the straight bridge of the chrome fork underline the great historic 70s look.

The fully built Campagnolo Record Group was equipped with very rare original pantographic designs, such as on the chain wheel and the seat post. A Brooks swift saddle in black leather with bronze studs is now used for an absolutely authentic and perfectly matching look. The handlebar is wrapped in hand sewn leather, the same color as the saddle and as well as the Brooks pedal straps.

The wheels impress with Campagnolo large flange hubs and Mavic rims from the 70s. New Continental tires are liable for the proper grip of this high-flyer. We’re happy to release it back to the streets and we’re also looking forward to seeing it again at the scratch of the 2013 L’Eroica.
